A little about us...

Our group meets every 3 months, March, June, September and December, for a shared lunch.  We are there to support any newly diagnosed women with breast cancer, as well as ongoing support for everyone else.  When she is available, our meetings are attended by Jacky Jones the McGrath breast cancer nurse.

Also on occasions we have other guest speakers, health professionals or local doctors to speak to us on any health concerns we have.

We have a Consumer Representative that attends the WACHS Cancer Leadership Group meetings at the Albany Health Campus, to raise any issues we have regarding treatments or concerns we may have.

We do have dragon boats and have the River Rats for those who like to have a bit of fun on the river, in preference to the ocean dragon boating.

We now have a 'Breast Friends' coffee morning once a month at a local cafe, everyone welcome. 

We meet the second Monday every third month for lunch at the Albany Bridge Club, Mill St (off Vancouver St) Albany.
