IMPORTANT: beware suspicious fundraising

Over the last several weeks we have received queries from people within our network across SA, WA and NT regarding the following issue.

Breast Cancer Network Australia has been notified that members of the public are door knocking for donations, claiming to represent BCNA. Throughout the year fundraising activities for our network vary, however in line with BCNA policy, this does not involve door to door activity.

There are some charities that do face to face fundraising, so it is recommended that you ask for authentication from anyone requesting donations for a charity and if you have any reason to be suspicious contact police.
