Wellness Sisters-Whyalla SA

After supporting each other through our own cancer experience we wanted to give back to others in our local community with a cancer diagnosis.

Our group does this in two ways, first, by offering a cancer support group and fundraising to provide financial assistance to members of the community experiencing financial hardship.

The Wellness Sisters support group is made up of positive, welcoming and compassionate women who all share a cancer diagnosis. We meet monthly, usually over a casual lunch and coffee at Mint Café. We discuss shared experiences including the physical, emotional and financial aspects of life with cancer. We support others going through this very difficult time in their lives.

We offer positive and respectful support and refer people to available services and information to promote ongoing holistic wellness during treatment and throughout survivorship.
