A little bit about us...

We are a casual group, meeting for a leisurely walk and chatting in various locations along the picturesque Northwest Coast of Tasmania.

We encourage all cancer survivors to join us but mainly are women breast cancer survivors.

The benefits for this group is to gain strength and confidence to get out and about and enjoy the outdoors while forming friendship, knowledge, reassurance and understanding, by being able to chat openly about experiences with others who have ensured similar issues.

We are based in Burnie  Tasmania but will do mini road trips to various locations (within an hour of base), to walk, talk, and experience both  the foreshore of  Bass Straight or easy nature walks in our lovely parks and recreational areas. Enjoying a coffee or lunch afterwards.

We set an eight week programme block so we all know in advance where we are going.

No set commitment is required to attend but the opportunity is there if we are meeting in a location near to you we would love for you to join us .

Our base will be Burnie but will travel west as far as Wynyard or East to Latrobe, with venues in between.

In 2024 we meet fortnightly from January 16^th at 11 am.
