Mr Walker’s Wiggery is led by Rachel Walker, a highly respected, award-winning hair stylist, and one of Australia’s leading wig makers.

Rachel creates bespoke wigs and hairpieces of exceptional quality using a diverse range of techniques, tailored to each client’s needs. Specialising in people living with alopecia and long-term hair loss, Rachel provides personalised solutions for anyone experiencing hair loss, ensuring the perfect fit and most natural look.

All consultations are by appointment only.

Our studio is located near Hobart, Tasmania. If you’re based elsewhere in Australia or New Zealand, we offer video consultations to accommodate you. Rachel also provides services for clients experiencing medical hair loss two days a week at Trilogy On Church salon in Kingston, just 10 minutes from Hobart CBD. In-person consultations can also be arranged at the salon, should you prefer.

Many clients opt for a private fitting once they choose a custom-made wig, and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of having their fitting in Rachel’s private studio on her farm, situated in the picturesque village of Cradoc, nestled in the beautiful Huon Valley, Tasmania. This is a truly unique experience that can be combined with a relaxing Tasmanian holiday.
