Knitted Knockers are handmade, knitted breast prostheses designed for breast cancer survivors who have undergone a mastectomy. They are made from 100% cotton and are free to recipients. Knitted Knockers offer a lighter, softer, and more comfortable alternative to silicone prostheses. Compared to traditional prostheses, Knitted Knockers are lightweight, adjustable, and can be worn in regular bras. They can also be washed and adjusted as needed. These prostheses are provided free of charge to those who need them, thanks to the efforts of volunteers who knit and distribute them.
