Dragons Abreast Mackay

We are a group of breast cancer survivors and supporters of various ages and levels of fitness who meet at the Mackay Marina on Sunday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to paddle in our dragon boat “Lorna’s Wish.”

Our aim is to have fun while improving our fitness and making new friends. We like to promote breast cancer awareness and the benefits of an active life after breast cancer. We also enjoy a variety of social activities and community events.

We meet in front of the Breakwater Restaurant at the Mackay Marina and we train on Sunday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons but starting times vary with the seasons so if you would like to come please contact us.
