History - Our group started in 1996 and has been sponsored by the Anglican Church in Coffs Harbour for over 20 years as a service to the community. To date, over 260 people have been supported by our group.
Purpose - We meet to support, encourage and listen to each other within a safe, friendly, confidential environment, whilst gaining knowledge and having fun.
Who we are? – We have all had a breast cancer diagnosis. Some of us have been recently diagnosed, some are undergoing treatment(s) and others are several years down the track. Some have metastatic breast cancer.
What happens at meetings? – Laughter, learning, sharing and caring – Guest speakers keep us informed about the latest breast cancer information, treatments and resources, as well as practical tips on diet, exercise and managing stress.
Each year we participate in
Monthly meetings – usually 4th Thursday from 10am to 12 noon, St John’s House, next to Anglican Church in McLean St, Coffs Harbour.
