Cancer Council Australia is the overarching cancer support organisation. Each state has their own Cancer Council services with different programs. Cancer Council Victoria provides a range of services including:
Pro bono services
4 pro bono programs including
the Legal Referral Services such as wills, powers of attorney, early access to superannuation, insurance claims and disputes, employment issues and other disputes
Financial Planning Referral Services such as Centrelink payments, superannuation and insurance, estate planning and restructuring income and assets.
the Workplace Advisory Service helps manage workplace issues before, during and after treatment and transition back into the workforce after treatment.
the Small Business Advice Service helps with access to free assistance to manage their small business after a diagnosis.

Financial Assistance
We can provide a small, one-off grant to people experiencing financial hardship following a cancer diagnosis, to cover everyday costs such as buying groceries or paying phone bills. Please go here or call 13 11 20 for more information.
