Cancer Council SA

Cancer Council Australia is the overarching cancer support organisation. Each state has their own Cancer Council services with different programs.

Programs and services offered by Cancer Council SA include:

Pro Bono Program

• The Cancer Council Pro Bono Program supports cancer patients and carers with advice around legal issues and financial planning.
• This program can give advice on legal issues such as wills, power or attorney, superannuation and insurance disputes, Centrelink disputes and employment law and discrimination. It can also assist with financial planning such as accessing superannuation and insurance, eligibility and accessing Centrelink payments and transitioning to retirement.

Financial assistance

• Cancer Council can help you find relevant community and government resources that may be able to assist you financially. We may able to be able to provide a one-off grant to help you meet your specific financial challenges.
