Also providing financial assistance grants for rural and regional  patients for expenses relating to the treatment and travel costs.

The BPCAQ have invested in rural breast care nurses through further education via La Trobe  University and BC nurses have been established in Rockhampton, Barcaldine,  Mitchell and  are currently funding nurses in Emerald,  Fraser Coast,  Charleville and St George.

There are subcommittees in Emerald, Longreach, St George, Charleville, Toowoomba and Mitchell.
