A Bit About Us………..
A Canberra based charity dedicated solely to providing on the ground peer support services to help those in the ACT and surrounding NSW region affected by breast cancer.
Our programs and services focus on our mission to support everyone in the community diagnosed with breast cancer and their loved ones, and to spread the message about the importance of early detection and breast awareness.
Our main programs are:
1. One-on-one Peer Support : providing on the ground one-on-one peer support to people from when they are diagnosed, during treatment and following their treatment.
2. Support Groups : facilitating regular support catch-ups in the ACT and surrounding NSW region for those going through, or having gone through, a breast cancer diagnosis.
3. Breast Awareness : conducting information sessions to the community on how to self-check and be breast aware to feel empowered to support themselves.
4. Buddy Gifts : creating helpful patient aids to gift to breast cancer patients.
5. Resources : providing information on the services available in the region.
