Andrew Love Cancer Centre Wellness Lounge

The Wellness Lounge has now reopened for patients, family and carers attending for treatment and appointments at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.

Barwon Health's Andrew Love Cancer Centre (ALCC) Wellness Lounge provides support, care and community for patients and their families in the Geelong region. Based on wellness centres such as the Olivia Newton John Centre and the Maggie Centres in the UK, the ALCC Wellness Lounge is a beautiful, relaxing and welcoming space. 

Visitors can use the space to

• Rest and sit in a quiet space
• Find out about our weekly online groups 'Relaxation and Mindfulness' and 'Introduction to Yoga', which are specifically designed and provided for cancer patients
• Relax in the massage chair
• Find information about a range of cancer and wellness related topics
• Learn about support groups and other services
• Make use of the free wig library
• Make use of donated items
• Wait for an appointments
• Find out how to join the free Mindfulness and Relaxation, and Yoga online sessions
• Find out about Look Good Feel Better online sessions

The Wellness Lounge is open Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4pm. A staff member is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to discuss and assist with trying wigs from our free wig lending library. Alternatively, please ring (03) 4215 3831 to make a time that suits you.
