Information Forum Murray Bridge, SA

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) held an information Forum in March 2024 for people diagnosed and living with breast cancer and their supporters in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

The Information Forum covered topics including:

• Current and emerging treatments
• Managing emotional impacts
• Lymphoedema

We heard from BCNA members, Wendy, Donna and Tania, about their lived experience, during our member panel discussion.

Attendees were also advised of local support as well as learning more about BCNA’s services and resources.

Guest speakers included:

• Dr Charlotte Tottman, Clinical Psychologist
• Professor Neil Piller, Lymphologist
• Annie Williams, McGrath Breast Care Nurse

There were two simultaneous information sessions throughout the day – one for people with early breast cancer and one for people with metastatic breast cancer.
