Update on monthly Zoladex access

Navigating treatment changes can feel overwhelming, and we know how deeply these shifts affect your daily life and peace of mind. We want to share an update regarding Zoladex (goserelin) 3.6mg implant.

AstraZeneca has shared details about a ‘Continuity Program’ following their decision to remove the monthly Zoladex 3.6mg implant from the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) on 1 November 2026, despite there being no direct replacement currently available.

While this update offers some guidance on how eligible patients might continue accessing the monthly option once it is off the PBS, it isn't a long-term fix. We understand that crucial questions around cost, ongoing access, and practical arrangements remain unanswered - and that this creates ongoing uncertainty for so many of you.

Together, we are addressing current system gaps, exploring better ways to manage medicine access, and advocating fiercely for a sustainable, long-term monthly replacement option.
