If you are interested in contributing to BCNA’s strategic direction and evaluation through this formal advisory pathway, we encourage you to review the CAG role and consider submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI).
We currently have two positions available, and to ensure strong representation of metastatic experience, at least one position will be filled by someone living with metastatic breast cancer.
We strongly encourage applications from people with a broad range of lived experiences, identities and backgrounds, particularly those whose perspectives are often underrepresented in health engagement or who may face additional barriers to participation, inclusion or being heard. This includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTIQA+ people, people living with disability, and people in regional and remote communities.
The EOI will ask you to briefly outline your lived experience, the perspectives you would bring, and any skills or experience that would support the group’s work (for example: governance, advocacy, health systems, communications, community engagement, policy, research or lived experience leadership).
The EOI will close on Wednesday 27 May at midnight. All applications are required through completing this form.
