Out with Cancer study – seeking experiences of health professionals
Researchers at Western Sydney University are inviting health professionals working in cancer medicine and cancer care to participate in the ‘Out with Cancer’ study.
An online survey will ask about your knowledge and experiences of working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ+) people with cancer and their carers. The survey findings will be used to inform improvements in care for this population.
The study is based at Western Sydney University, in collaboration with UTS, Melbourne University, LaTrobe University, University of New South Wales and Monash University.
It is funded by an Australia Research Council Linkage grant, in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Cancer Council NSW, National LGBTI Health Alliance, ACON, Breast Cancer Network Australia and CanTeen.
