New and emerging treatments for metastatic breast cancer

Today, we are seeing new and improved treatments for metastatic breast cancer. These emerging treatments are more targeted and greatly improving overall survival. Clinical trials are particularly important to those diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer to find new and/or better cancer treatments that might extend or improve their quality of life. In breast cancer there are clinical trials for a range of treatments and can focus on emotional wellbeing or the symptoms and side effects of cancer treatments.
