Coronavirus (COVID-19)

BCNA is aware that the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) across Australia is causing real concern for many of our members.

For those of you who are currently receiving treatment, or have recently finished treatment, there is worry about how it might affect you.

BCNA has been working with government, Cancer Australia, Cancer Council Australia and our clinical advisers (breast cancer clinicians) to make sure we have helpful and relevant information available to help you through this challenging time.

Information on how to reduce your risk of exposure to coronavirus is available on our My Journey online tool. You will find information and practical strategies on managing fear and worry and options for financial support during this time, as well as tailored information relevant to your diagnosis type:

In addition, we will continue to open our Helpline on Saturdays and Sundays until further notice. Please call us on 1800 500 258 if you have any questions or are experiencing any problems. We have heard from some people that they are not able to get through to their treating team or hospital as the phone lines are busy. We are here to help you.
