Members wanted for exercise study
Undergoing treatment for cancer is often difficult and associated with both physical and emotional challenges. Some people appear to benefit from exercise while others find physical activity difficult
Austin Health Victoria and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre are conducting a study to learn what types of things affect people’s decisions about exercise during their cancer treatment.
Organisers are looking for women who have been through cancer treatment to take part in an online survey. It is expected to take about 20 minutes to complete.
The results will help their team to develop resources to help support people with cancer.
Who can take part?
Individuals who are:
- Currently having treatment for cancer (including hormone-blocking therapy),
- Aged 18 years or older,
- Living in Australia, and
- Can read and write in English.
