Fun raising funds with Carman’s
The third Carman’s Women’s Fun Run was an outstanding success, with more than 6,000 women and girls taking part on Sunday 2 December. The Catani Gardens in St Kilda, Vic was blanketed in pink and black t-shirts and bright pink tutus. Participants were treated to a fabulous breakfast bar with an array of Carman’s nutritious snacks.
BCNA’s CEO – Kirsten Pilatti, BCNA Board member, Olympian and breast cancer survivor – Raelene Boyle, and Carman’s Founder and Managing Director – Carolyn Creswell were at the starting line to wish all the runners and walkers well. The atmosphere was one of celebration and comradery.
Earlier in the week, Carman’s hosted a beautiful breakfast for the top fundraisers. The morning was full of inspiring and emotional stories as women shared their reasons for running.
The final amount raised through fundraising and donations for BCNA is still yet to be tallied, but has already reached more than $207,000. A wonderful effort by everyone involved.
