All Aboard! Tickets selling fast to Field of Women
Thanks to the generosity of our partner Red Energy, the ‘Stand with Me at the ‘G’ message is rolling out across Melbourne this week.
The number 75 tram has ‘pinked up’ for the Field of Women event and can be seen trundling its way from Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs to the city.
CEO Kirsten Pilatti said it was very exciting to see one of Melbourne’s iconic trams promoting the event which was now only a month away.
“Tickets are selling fast but we’d still love to see more people join us for Field of Women,” she said.
“We’d love as many women, men and children join us on Sunday 12 August to help us create the biggest pink lady on the ground of the MCG to represent the 18,235 Australians who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.”
“Standing on the ‘G is an amazing experience and an opportunity to stand in unity to remind those diagnosed that they are not alone and to remember those who are no longer with us,” Kirsten said.
There are so many exciting plans for BCNA’s special 20th anniversary Field of Women, including a family festival and amazing entertainment at the ceremony that will ‘wow’ everyone standing on the field.
