The MCG turned pink inside and out!
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) would like to thank our members and supporters for getting behind the Pink Lady Match and making it such a great success.
The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) turned pink inside and out in a sparkling display of support for breast cancer on Saturday night. Thousands held pink torches as the lights of the MCG went out during an emotional moment of silence to remember all those affected by breast cancer.
Marlisa Punzalan, 2014 X Factor winner performed live. It was an emotional performance for Marlisa, who lost her grandmother to breast cancer.
Held the night before Mother’s Day, the inaugural Pink Lady Match raised an incredible $80,000 for BCNA. The money generously donated will help us continue to provide free information and support to Australians affected by breast cancer.
BCNA is so grateful to the people and organisations who supported the Pink Lady Match, in particular major event partner Red Energy, BCNA partners Bakers Delight, Sussan and Berlei and event partners AFL, MCC, MCG, Melbourne Football Club, Sydney Swans, Channel 7, Ticketek, Focus on Furniture, NAB, and Manildra Group.
