We’re inviting you to be a legend in your community and ‘pink up’ on a weekend that best suits your club's fixture.
Pink Sports Days are a great opportunity for your club or sporting association to open its doors to the community and raise vital awareness for the 50 families that are affected by a breast cancer diagnosis every day. These events are also a way for your club to acknowledge the important role women play in grassroots sport.
Whether this is your first fundraiser or your tenth, we’ll help you every step of the way and our brand new Game Plan brochure will give you all the information you need to make your day a huge success. We’ll also send you a Pink Sports Day goodie pack which includes posters, balloons, tattoos and more - all completely free!
Northcote City FC is incredibly proud to be associated with Pink Sports Day and BCNA. Through our involvement all players, parents, supporters and sponsors rallied together over a couple of days to raise an incredible amount of money to support this worthy cause.
We also were fortunate to have some of our members share their personal experience of breast cancer, or that of other family members. Effectively, providing us with a firsthand understanding of breast cancer and its impact. - Peter Papatheodorou, Club Secretary, Northcote City FC
A Pink Sports Day can be held at any time throughout the year. Many clubs choose to hold their fundraiser over Mother’s Day weekend or during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. However, we encourage you to host your day when it works best for your club calendar.
All money raised through your Pink Sports Day goes directly to BCNA to support our work of ensuring Australians diagnosed with breast cancer receive the very best support, information, treatment and care.
