Pink Sports Day

We’re inviting you to register and host a Pink Sports Day and PLAY4BCNA in 2019!

Pink Sports Days are a great way for your club or sporting association to rally players, officials and supporters together to help raise awareness and funds in support of Australians affected by breast cancer.

Each day this year more than 50 Australians will be told they have breast cancer – over 19,000 people in 2019. It is expected 164 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and many are also affected through the diagnosis of a partner, mother or friend. Being told you have breast cancer changes lives in an instant and has a ripple effect through families, workplaces, sporting clubs and the community.

Hosting a PLAY4BCNA Pink Sports Day enables men, women and children to all be involved, either on the field or on the sidelines! These fundraisers are also a really rewarding way for your club to acknowledge the important role women play in grassroots sport.

"The sense of achievement after hosting our Pink Sports day each year is a feeling of overwhelming happiness and pride. We are supporting the great work of BCNA and helping positively impact the lives of people with breast cancer and their families. Our day grows every day, we are proud to have raised over $100,000 since 2010. This year will be our 9th Pink Sports Day and we can't wait!"

Whether you've hosted a Pink Sports day before or it's your very first time in 2019, we’ll help you every step of the way with our free promotional support material. Every host will receive a pack with posters, balloons, tattoo transfers, Pink Lady silhouettes, donation tins and more.  We offer a range of fantastic Pink Sports Day merchandise to order and help you “pink up” both on and off the field – pink socks, pink laces, beanies and more!

A Pink Sports Day can be held at any time throughout the year. Many clubs choose to hold their fundraiser over Mother’s Day weekend in May or during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. However, we encourage you to host your day at any time when it works best for your club calendar.

All funds raised through your Pink Sports Day go directly to BCNA to support our work ensuring all Australians affected by breast cancer receive the very best support, information, treatment and care.
