Joyce goes all out for BCNA
Joyce Aimond, franchisee of Bakers Delight Lane Cove, has been a stalwart supporter of the annual Pink Bun campaign over many years.
‘The work of BCNA is close to my heart. Over the years of the Bakers Delight and BCNA partnership, I have lost several friends to breast cancer,’ explains Joyce.
Each year, Joyce transforms her Bakers Delight store with pink fabric, balloons and banners, while also making up and selling her now-famous pink lolly bags, with 100 per cent of sales going to BCNA.
So contagious is Joyce’s enthusiasm that other businesses have joined in too, with The Cakeman in Lane Cove also donating 100 per cent of cupcake sales to the Pink Bun campaign.
BCNA community champions Sue Wright and Chris Shoji also jump on board; sporting pink tutus at the front of the store, personally thanking customers for supporting the campaign.

Over our 20-year partnership, Bakers Delight has raised an incredible $20 million for BCNA. Money raised this year will go towards providing information and support to those diagnosed, including our My Journey online tool – a free resource providing up-to-date, reliable information tailored to a person’s individual diagnosis and treatment.
So get down to your local Bakers Delight bakery between October 8 and 28, purchase a Pink Bun and 100 percent of the sale will comes directly to BCNA.
If you are in Lane Cove NSW, make sure you visit Joyce and thank her for all of her hard work!
