Marathon for Mum

On Saturday November 11 2023, BCNA Ambassadors Jarrod and Thomas Berry, along with their brother Joel and best friends Ben Lakin and Will Roberston, are running a marathon in honour ‘mum’.

The five boys will run from 42km out of town on the Western highway and complete the marathon back in Horsham town centre, where celebrations and live music will provide the setting to trade stories with all those who knew Jedda.

The boys' mission is to bring together the community of the Wimmera and "to remember such an amazing lady who taught us all valuable lessons of life. 'Marathon for Mum' will raise money for BCNA, the organisation that provided our family with overwhelming support. We hope, by supporting BCNA, they will continue to be there to provide information and support to everyone diagnosed with breast cancer and their families, and in turn bring reassurance and a smile to people's faces as they go through a tough time."
