Day 28

Posted by Annie13 on 06 Aug 2012, 01:42PM

Today I am one week post op, and to be honest, feeling pretty good. This morning I took the dog for a walk, did my Physio exercises in the park, then grabbed a coffee from one of the many great cafes in my area before strolling home - fantastic way to start the day!
My chest area still hurts - its more pressure than anything. But definitely getting a little better each day. The movement in my arm gets better each day as well which is great. I am taking plenty of pain killers though so sure that's masking some of it! Non-the-less I am feeling good.
I am both nervous and anxious though about getting the pathology results on Wednesday. It's crazy to think that these results will have such a big impact on everything over the coming months.
I have had visitors galore over the weekend. It is so nice to spend time with the people who matter. It's funny how as you get older you start to care less what everyone thinks of you, and just care about those who care about you. I am truly blessed to have amazing close friends and family. And of course my darling partner who could not do more for me - I have just been swept away by how caring and attentive he had been - just so lovely.
I am starting today watching the first season of Revenge - the girls tell me it's a must! So I'm off to get stuck into that now. Good day. x
