When I had my first ultrasound and mammo on Friday the lady doing it before starting said YOU Have a beautiful scar it's perfect. and then she said the scar inside is also beautiful wow what a great thing to say to someone. I thanked her and she said my pleasure. Even though I will wait till this Thursday for results this lady made me feel great! I cannot believe its 10months since my original diagnosis surgery and treatment whoa where does it go. Love to all Adean

Hi girls , I had my visit to my surgeon yesterday after my initial 7 months of bc diagnosis, and after she chatted prodded and poked she put her arms in the air and yelled YIPPEE I LIKE WHAT IM SEEING AND FEELING NO LUMPS YEHHHHH. I started to laugh and she kept saying well done well done. squeezing my arm and smiling. i seriously felt like the kid who one dux of the school. Such a contrast to the other 7 months ago, so the lymphodemia and the pain is nothing I cant put up with and the lump I had felt in my shoulder was fatty tissue phew!

Last week I had my last session of radiotherapy and the young guy said to me hope I never see you again , well I thought the feeling is quite mutual. I couldnt believe I didnt have to do the daily drive to flash the boobs. I felt strange empty ? should I celebrate ?Everyone says will you party?  No I was greatful just to be living. Yesterday I turned 52 and today is my 30th wedding anniversary, did I celebrate ?

Hi all you ladies, adean here had my first official day of radiation today YEH finally on the road, the wait has been a while and I felt a little in limbo. I must confess I had a sore gut this morning and my boss kept reminding me all morning to not get to involved in my work today as she new I would forget the time, everyone sent me of and I felt like a VIP such lovely support at work . Everything went well had a weird burning sensation inside the breast and the nipple felt weird, and I was fine till I went to the car and I got the shakes, not so together was I.

Hi girls hope you are all well, I know we all need humor in this time of our lives and wanted to tell you about my  incident (actually the devil in me) last week. Spent last week with that damn flu at home resting in bed and THEN  our favourite electricity door knocker came giving away the power board thingy, the young gentleman was very insistant that he come in and didnt care he said if I had the flu he was ok with my germs saying NO thanks didnt sit with him and he put the old foot in the door.

I think my poor husband has hit the brick wall today after spending hours at Peter mac hospital yesterday me having a bit of a crying moment and he  has not once hardly left my side except for work does not want to go to work today just wants to be left in bed to sleep all day he said . He also had a massive binge day of take away food  (recently lost 14 kgs on diet) . I feel sorry for him as he has been the pillar of strength for me especially those hugs when you cant say anything.

So many of us

Cording

Hi Ladies,

Need your help girls have quite a dose of cording running from front of nipple to under arm to elbow, its now week 2 after surgery any hints on reducing the feel, pain etc? Seen the surgeon and said massage in shower do the exercises, etc if no better in 2 weeks off to the physio.

Well i'm doing all that and it's still very restrictive only walking with my arm in the air gives relief. Believe me I know its trivial to some of our ladies problems but its a pain up the but no actually the breast. xxxxxx
