Good evening lovely ladies. I'm recovering from surgery. I underwent the bilateral mastectomy last wednesday and i really am feeling much better at this stage than I thought I would be . I'm sure the pain killers have something to do with that. I do feel so relieved knowing my breasts have gone but I'm just so anxious waiting on the pathology results. I just keep praying the lymph nodes with come back negative. I'm still in hospital and I decided not to have my little ten month old son come in to see me because it would only upset up. I know he is being well looked after by my mum and dad but I just miss him to bits. I am just so angry that this cancer is seperating me from my little man. It's been lovely having people come to visit and they have been really positive but sometimes when they leave I just feel so sad because I am the one with this horrible cancer hanging over me. Anyway ladies thank you so much all the support you have provided. This journey just continues. Xox

Hi Sharon, I am glad your surgery is now behind you. You must be missing your son so much. The waiting for results is so awful, but the time will pass, and I will be keeping my fingers crossed that your results will be good. Love Chris xx
Thinking of you
Hope you have your pathology by now and you can properly understand what lies ahead. I'm now 3 weeks post op of bi-lateral and feeling stronger and better everyday.
