Hi, Marus here. My good wife Shaz has had breast cancer with both removed in May and is currently having treatment. Does the group meet anywhere as Shaz (early 40s) is not flash on the computer but loves a chat and coffee, and Im sure she would get a lot out of similar support and help. We are currently in Bouvard as our house in Baldivis was nailed in the storms a couple of weeks ago. Thanks in Advance for any help for her. Cheers

we are in the Rockingham / Mandurah region in WA. I had looked at the support groups on the website and was trying to get in touch with the "Breast Friends" in Bouvard, as they say they have face to face chats and coffee, local once a month, but the number just refers you to SA?

Sorry, I am not from WA but QLD. But please, both keep blogging here as well. As we are all very supportive here on this site. Both yourself and Shaz will find this website great for asking advice. As you will pretty well find that someone has gone through or going through the same.
I found this site to be a fantastic support. And we all laugh, cry, ask for advice or give advice when we can.
Hope to hear from you both. And can I say... a big congrats to you for jumping onto this website.

Like Chipmunk I am in QLD, but I am on the phone and skype if Shaz wants to talk. Skype is just like the telephone on the computer if Shaz is up to it, and we can be face to face. Happy to talk anytime - as you will find out we tend to insomnia on some days. Otherwise just keep posting and we will respond.
