Hello. I have had one treatment of taxotere and I was
Scared. The lower back pain and hips were very bad on in the night of the 4th day. I woke up feeling vulnerable, the pain wasn't as bad but it persisted for 5 - 6 days. Today it felt better, I have been taking panedol osteopanedol all week. Anyone out there with similar experience? Thank you, Renae

Prostheses vs Reconstruction for Small Breasted Women

Hello again, thank you for making your comments on my other post. I appreciate your decisions and understanding of reconstruction. I am still feeling like a reconstruction may not be for me. I am small breasted and not quite sure. Any comments from women with small breasts may be helpful as I would think an external prostheses wouldn't be so bad. Thank you, Renae

I am having a hard time deciding. Any thoughts on living without a breast, I feel like I will ok in theory but then I wonder what the reality will be like. I am 48 years old and married, my husband is very supportive. I just don't know if I can go through any of the reconstruciton options. Many thanks, Renae

I am currently a public patient receiving chemo at St Vincents in Melbourne. Just wondering if anyone out there has one through the public system and which hospital. I am considering Peter Mac if I can change but not sure if they would be better. Anyone experienced either St Vincents or Peter Mac in Melbourne? ManyThanks, Renae
