Congratulations for getting here, well done!!!!!  You are definitely on the countdown now good on you.  I wish you smooth sailing through your radiotherapy.

It is always such a good feeling when you have a productive day.

I think I have taken over your downer for you but at least it has left you so well done.

I know I will pick myself back up again but it is yukky when you are down there.  I have chemo number 5 of 6 on Wednesday.  On 13th June I am down to Perth for my radiotherapy CT and set up so I will be starting my count down shortly.  Just at the present moment it seems a long way away.

How many weeks of radiotherapy have you got.  I have 7 weeks starting 18th July.

Keep your spirits up, you are going great guns.  Soon it will be over and you can get your life back and put this journey in to your past thoughts.

Congrats again.

Hi Mich,

I too have had those downer days & sometimes even with so much great family & friends around you can still feel so alone!

Good luck a billion times with your chemo treatment, your nearly there Mich...

I too am doing a total of 33 rounds of radiotherapy, starting the 4th June. So works out about 7 weeks too.

No women asks for this journey, it makes us feel it's one thing in our life we cannot control, but our spirit cannot be controlled by no diagnoses. You are still you! Keep strong and always go forward!

Mona.

hi there, glad to hear you are another step forward, and on the homeward stretch, compared to chemo, radio is good, i was a bit tired after the first couple of weeks, but after going through chemo, you learn to listen to your body, and rest when you need to. We ahev all gone through the ups and downs, so glad to hear you are on an up. good luck and keep in touch Regards Moira

Hi Moira,

I feel so blessed and grateful I didn't need chemo! My heart and admiration goes out to you all...

The one thing I promised myself is not to feel sorry for me, I allow myself only a short time to get down & than pick myself up again. Life is to precious this I learnt very quickly.

Good luck with everything and thanks for the response.
Mona

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO WELL DONE.  That is great news and I am so happy for you.

Make sure you take care, listen to your body and live for each day.  Smile when you can.
