Sleep was random last night, so I can see me under a doona today. Two more rounds to go, thank god! Now i know how the Mummys feel when they pull them out of the ground after 3000 years! lol, gotta be cruel to be kind i suppose :(

Went to Chemo yesterday, 1st dose of Dositaxyl or Taxitore as some say, so glad NOT to have the "Red Devil' crap! Woke up feeling quite drunk tho, and wobbly legs! No Nausea.

My Onoclogist, Dr Scarlett, said my blood count is good, and I only have two more chemo's to go instead of 5! He doesnt want to push it. Off to radio after July, which means i can enjoy xmas!

I began this journey with impending doom! Now I'm happy. I wont be complaicent tho, I'm aware that MAYBE in time, it may return, elswhere, but for now, I'll enjoy things more.

Whats your chemo brain like? whats the craziest things you've done that you normally wouldn't do?

> got in the shower with my sox still on.

> Ive locked my keys in the car down the street 3 times so far

>left my purse with over $1000.00 in the  local newsagents whilst browsing mags, luckily a lady handed it over!!!! I almost dropped dead on the spot when i walked a block to pay rent and i had no purse in my bag!!!!

> put the cornflakes box in the fridge, didnt realise til lunch time.

I had my 3rd shot of FEC 5FU and im fine! I was reading storys of it being the worst, but this was my best! Maybe because i had it in Bairnsdale instead of travelling al the way to sale, and the unit is much more pleasant to be in, and lunch was yummy. the drugs went in differently and i was out and home in 4 hrs instead of 6. The nurseing staff were fabulous as well. So definately a positive treatment has a better outcome. Last night i slept well enough, waking every 4 hours for maxillon, i sweated my guts out but no temp, but felt ok.
