Profilatic mascetomy
Just wondering how many ladies have opted to have a double mastectomy with cancer only in one breast to try and eliminate the possibility of it coming back. Also was your choice based on a genetic factor or purely prevention and peace of mind?? Thanks kel xxxxxx
Dense fibro breasts
Hi, so already had a mastectomy and have been told I have very dense fibrotic breast, which is a large mass. I'm concerned that they won't c anything new arise but my surgeon tells me their mammogram machine is not the norm. Apparently it is a MRI mammogram and I should feel confident with the screening . Been thinking about having a second mastectomy but so unsure. Any thoughts ????
Reconstruction advice
hello !! Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the lat dorsi method of reconstruction, with implants both sides. Do they do it all in one go ? Both sides? Does the I plant have to be filled slowly . Forgive my ignorance as I haven't an app for a few mths so thought somebody would tell me of their experience. Oh and recovery after with the scars on back , any regrets? Thanks kel xx

hi all u lovely lady's:) well I'm in my 30 's and have finish my op,chemo and radio . I got on this site as a thought it would be helpful with my decision about having a reconstruction using the lat dorsi method. but I found myself wondering through the different blogs and I came across a women who had had bad news and secondaries . Since then that's all I can think about.
