ON STAGE

Well, I am so excited to share with who ever is reading that through treatment I wrote a One Act Play entitled Powerfully Fragile.

It is the story of four women and how they journey through their respective lives, focusing on One's recent cancer diagnosis.  The women all have a burden to bear in life, and as such are quite self centred with regards to their struggles.  It is meant to highlight the often dark feelings associated with breast cancer.  The play also showcases the beautiful relationship between a man and his wife, and how their love is strong, especially through this hard time.  At its heart, Powerfully Fragile is about 'Not letting your Struggle become your Identity'.

Powerfully Fragile will be produced this year for entrance into the One Act Play Festival of South East Queensland.

It will be played at several venues in and around Brisbane. I really beleive that it will have an impact on the local community with regards to breast cancer awareness, but more than that, awareness of the impact of cancer on the patient and her spouse.
