My story

It is hard to believe that I have been working for BCNA for over 6 years now!  I have met so many amazing and inspirational women.

When I arrived at BCNA in 2006, we had just over 17,000 members and it is unbelievable that today we represent almost 43,000 members and we grow significantly by the week!

The increase has two feelings for me

1. There are so many Australians who continue to need our help

2. How wonderful to be reaching and connecting so many people

I feel very proud and honoured to work here.

As I stopped off for my coffee this morning I was all swelled with pride - my local Bakers Delight had turned PINK overnight.

This years Pink Bun campaign is set to be another huge year.  There are very few charities who can boast about a genuine commitment from corporates, but we are certainly one of the lucky ones.

As you know BCNA is very fortunate to have the support of Sussan.  With our members support in 2011 we developed beautiful quotes, which were then illustrated, to sell in Sussan stores across the country.

So successful was these devine boxes that we are looking to expand the range in 2012.

So we need your help

Help - best dinners to freeze

Kirsten's picture
Posted by Kirsten on 20 Feb 2012, 02:32PM

Hi everyone - it is fantastic to be back in the Pink after having my son, Oscar.

Now - I need a little help from my friends!  A  girlfriend and I were chatting last night about the best meals that will freeze.

She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has been well supported by family and friends but is COMPLETELY over spag bol and lasagna.

So I said I would reach out to our Network and ask for suggestions of the best meals that we can provide for the freezer.  That way I can let everyone else know what else they can cook for her.

We need your help.  Thanks to the generous support of Nissan today we have launched an online auction for a customised Nissan Micra Ti.

The Nissan was especially grafittied by international artist Andy Steel and to top off has been signed by all the 2011 Cleo Bachelors of the Year.  Nissan will be donating 100% of the auction sale to BCNA.

So we need your help to spread the word about it.  The auction is only live for 10 days

We are in such a privileged position to work at BCNA.  Not only do we get to meet inspirational women who share their stories and experiences with us, we also get to meet and work with their support team.
I could not resist but to share how one son in our Network supports his mum.
