Prosthesis give away
Does anyone know if and where good external second hand breast prostheses can be donated? So many women have them stored away in cupboards and wardrobes and they MUST be of use to ladies elsewhere? The bras also- Berlei take them through Myer and specialty lingerie shops to send to 3rd world countries, but to send with the prostheses would be terrific.
I am really hoping someone can assist!
Summit
Well what fun we are all having at the 2011 Summit in St Kilda! Although the sky is grey, the faces are all glowing.
So much chatter, many laughs and oh so much FOOD!!
Happy days and leanring lots.

Did anyone else see tonights amazing show from Ireland on Breast cancer, msatectomy, and reconstruction?
All I can say is WOW and I did shed a tear.
2nd stage rose garden
Just got back from seeing the pink rose plants I arranged being planted in Launceston's City Park. 50 bushes have been donated by the Launceston City Council and will be blooming in November so I will have an official opening then.
There will be a plaque with our lady logo on it.
Nearby is a seat where people can sit and think.
It is not a memorial, it is a refuge for all those touched by breast cancer: women, men and children.
