4 Down, 2 to go. Chemo nearly finished, Yay!!!
Hi Lovelies.
Just thought I'd check in, had my first round of Docetaxel yesterday, a bit scarey of the unknown all over again. But, got through it ok, just a low blood pressure propblem in the first 15mins, but no reactions, Yay!!!!
Last night was spent mainly awake from hot/cold flushes, but no nausia/vomiting which was fantastic as I had a problem with this on Fec.
I look forward to finishing this lot of treatment and moving onto Radiation in Feb.
3 FEC down, 3 Docetaxal to go! Yay half way.
Hi Lovely Ladies,
I hope everyone is doing aok.
It has been quite a few weeks since last blog, but have finally made it half way through chemo, Yay!!!!
I have been feeling quite good considering, with the exception of the odd teary/fragile days. But they are just a blip in the road. :o)
Day 14 after 1st FEC100 - Oops there goes the hair.
Hi Lovely People,
Well, just like clockwork day 14 today and the hair is coming out. It probably didn't help that last night, I was playing dressups with all my scarves and hats I have collected over the past 3months and was pushing my hair underneath them. :o)
Yay Started Chemo, Finally.
Hi Ladies,
Well after last weeks delay, we had another hurdle on Tues again.............. 2 Nurses couldn't find a vein and had to postphone chemo again to Wednesday so that they could insert a Picc Line ( I've named Bert & Ernie :o)
So, Wednesday I got the Picc Line and then wheeled straight into Day Care for the Chemo. I think I am the only person on earth that wanted to get Chemo done.
I was pumped up for 1st Chemo, sorry delayed a week.
Hi Ladies,
Well it has been another eventful week for me, not short of excitement around here at the mo. :o)
Last Friday, we were all systems go for egg collection and the magical 6pak of eggs the Fertility Doc said that he was hoping to collect, turned into 4. Then only 2 were fertilised and then only 1 managed to split into cells and made it into the freezer! Sheesh, talk about hard work! BUT, we have one little tiny bundle of joy to focus on through the treatment, which is fantastic!
