Hi fellow pink ladies,

It's been a long time - won't bore you with the details!!

Well I'm now half way through chemo, Fec is all done and wow I do really think I have been lucky as far as side-effects go. Yes the hair loss is well and truly complete (pleased the tender head was short lived) and I am definitely slowing down a little more after each treatment, but have had no nausea/ vomiting and manageable back/bone pain after dose 1(when I had the extra neupogen injections).

Yippee, had my second FEC chemo treatment today and nothing went awry!! No burning sensation, no headaches, no stopping and starting and trip home was pretty good.

Was a great start when bloods were almost 'normal'. Oncologist says it's looking like first dose of chemo might have fixed my bone marrow - that would be right, different again. But this time a good different that I can cope with!!

Now just hoping that I get through this one as well as the first - I keep telling myself I will so that's a start!

First FEC 100 chemo down - FINALLY!!!

Well it finally happened - not of course without further little hiccups but it did happen! The oncologist and nurses are convinced that I've had all the bumps first up and all will be smooth from now - I'm all for that positive thinking!
