My story
I've been with BCNA since November 2009, working on this development, and love hearing everyone's stories and seeing you all link up through using this online network.
Officially, I'm the Online Engagement Manager and also the network administrator so if you need help, or have ideas for improvements, feel free to send me a personal message or leave a comment here (we can't always fix every issue that's raised, but we try our best to prioritise development on what you tell us you need).
If you need to contact me in the office, my details are -- email: dtreble@bcna.org.au, phone: 03 9805 2582. BCNA also has a freecall number: 1800 500 258 and an online enquiries form if that's easier for you.
My connection with breast cancer is from when my aunt was diagnosed with late secondary breast cancer ten years ago.
If you're wondering, my userpic is of me and my puppy on the beach down at Johanna in the middle of winter. Yes, it was cold!! :)

Arty crafty types?
Hi all,
I've been hearing so many of you mention that you love art, or craft, or photography. In one of my (many!) past lives I studied Fine Art, so it's a not-so-secret passion of mine, too!
Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea if we set up an arty/crafty types group for everyone to share inspiration and ideas, successes... No need to be an expert, or for anything more than an interest in sharing.
What do you think? Anyone interested?
Let me know by PM or in comments.

Yay for anniversaries!
Hi all,
Just wanted to share a little milestone with you. Last week was the 2 year anniversary of the launch of this website, AND therefore also the 2 year anniversary of this online network being born!
I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for the supportive and welcoming way that you all participate in this network, and the many, many times you (individually and collectively) jump in to welcome new members and help out those experiencing stressful or tough times.
Special Offer for May
Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know about the beautiful BCNA branded cotton hammamas on sale right now, with a special offer for BCNA members that's valid for all of May 2012.
As well as a discount for you ($19 off recommended retail), $20 of the purchase price (see the special discount offer, below) comes to BCNA as a donation.
We have a couple in the office, and I can tell you that they're lovely, lightweight pink fabric, and would be ideal for use as a sarong, towel, throw or picnic blanket.
