Hair return

Hi ladies,

I had chemo and radiation last year and finished everything mid October. I am wondering if others can share about their hair coming back? As you can see in my photo, I had a lot of curly hair. It has come back slowly but it is quite thin on top. I just want to be normal again and I know I am impatient! Is there anything that I can do to stimulate hair growth or do I just need to be patient?

Thanks!

HI all,

I am just wondering how others have coped with fatigue. I can't believe how it has hit me at the end of my chemo. I get breathless just doing the simplest things and my muscles feel like they have seized!!  I start radiation this week so I am wondering if the fatigue is going to get worse??   I would really appreciate any advice.

Hi Ladies!

I had my final chemo on Monday - not sure how to feel yet though! It has been a long journey and it now feels like a way of life! I went to have my radiotherapy planning appointment the very next day . I start radiation on August 30th. My students are performing in the Sydney Opera HOuse next week so I am resting well this week so I can go with them. I told my oncologist he could end up seeing me on RPA!!!!

Anyway, hoping everyone is going well and staying positive. This forum has been a huge help to me = thank you ladies!!

Husband not coping

I am not coping with my husband not coping!! He has become really angry and refuses to talk to me about things. He says I am putting far too much pressure on him and the kids but I don't understand how. He told me to back off. He has started swearing at me in front of the kids which is really not like him at all. He is suffering from depression after an accident 5 years ago.He has a broken kneecap which has developed into avascular necrosis. He is in constant pain and I am trying very hard to help him.
