My story

I am a proud mother of two beautiful boys and a wife to a loving husband. Through Breast Cancer journey last year (2009), i finally had the courage to start something special. Through my journey I had learn and still learning that through life-challenges, I can still be "Brave, Beautiful and HAPPY".

Hey, has someone told you today that you can still look and feel “Beautiful”, that you are the “Bravest” person I’ve known, and you can be “Happy” too. If not, then here it is from me: You are “Beautiful, Brave, and Happy”! Now it is your turn to look into the mirror and tell yourself that …. “I still can be Beautiful, I am Brave, and I still can be Happy” starting from now.

July 2009 (just a few days after my youngest child unsolicitedly said "I love you mummy")I was given a chance to travel a journey that I'd never expected to travel. A journey that taught me to be "Brave, Beautiful and Happy". I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Wow ... then Chemo ... then I questioned myself, how am going to look without hair, what am I going to tell my young children? What can I wear after my Mastectomy?

My 2011 GOAL:  to help other ladies to be more Stylish during their journey of colours.

Hi Everyone,

I bought the book "Your Life in Your Hands" back in 2009 during my mastectomy.  Read numerous websites with +s and -s ...  but I never end up reading it pass 20pages, as I wasn't sure -  I don't want to be a hypocrite - as the book talks about dairy & meat contributes to cancer, and yet I feed my kids all these food.

Now 2.5 years later ... I am curious

Does anyone have any opinion to offer?  What do you think?

Anyone successfully accepted for life insurance?

Hi Ladies,

Just been rejected by insurance company to cover me for life with pre-existing condition like BC & depression.  Feeling a little second class at the moment, reject with pinky discrimination here.

Have anyone out there successfully secure a life insurance policy with BC as pre-condition?  Also can you offer me the name of the insurer?

I have two young children, so I need to secure their and my hubby's future with some sort of financial peace of mind.

Help pls ...

chrs,

Amy

I received some sad news on the weekend - NOT ME, NOT BC related.

A very close friend of mine had to make a decision to stop medical intervention on a newborn baby.

The most difficult decision any parents has to endure.  Sydney sky has been mourning for this little girl since.  I later found out the meaning of her name was  "Alive, she who lives Well".

Though we have face BC and its challenging journey of a ferris wheel. We are travelling moving + "Alive" & our family are Well & very much here to be with us.
