my past 2 weeks!!!

20th July

just letting u know we are sitting in a room at st vincents pvt hosp. MRI done & surgery set for 4pm at the earliest tomorrow to remove the tumour at the base of my skull which has grown & is pressing on the spinal stem tube..feeling ok, head pain manageable. Op is straightfoward but will take 3 hrs

21st July....very tired. doc happy, he confidant he got it all. another mri this arvo. Still exhausted but prob due to anesthetic & body trying to recover. Just doing as i am told, getting some small walks in & pain mostly under control.

25th July  ..so now i'm home and hoped to rest up well for a few days, BUT a toothache is throwing a spanner in the works..now i have to be at the dentist 1st thing in the morning!! at least it is going to get sorted quickly..off to bed shortly as i am almost falling asleep sitting here and no sleep in 2moro

now  more recently....last monday night i appeared to have a seizure..could of had one or a mini one when i was home with just the boys and when steve came home he rang ambo and i have been in warrni base hospital until today..specialists all think it is the tumour at the top of my head that caused it rather than anything to do with the surgery..waiting on seeing Terri next thurs unless we hear different or from Peter Mac about more radiotherapy....
feeling VERY tired and will be just be resting up until we hear the next step in the plan..at least we know we have the best docs in the country working on my case..it was all very confusing and scary, probably lucky i don't remember most of it!
