round 2-not so kind

Posted by Samantha Cunnington on 18 Feb 2012, 08:03AM

Hello beautiful gals,

round 2 was not as kind to me as round 1..bugger, eh! I was getting used to feeling really good, renewed eneergy and a general feeling of wellness.  Two days post chemo, feeling flat and sleepy, tummy upset, feet so sore i can hardly walk-i shuffle around the house while my little 8 yr old twins sing that LMFAO song!! at least that makes me smile..not many smiles here last night-over the whole thing a bit!!..Woke up this morning feeling a lot brighter, feet still sore, but a bit more energy to feel up to doing a few things today..

thats all of a vent from me-i would much rather leave positive thoughts with you all..

hope all of you are doing well with your treatments

So sorry to hear that you are crook this round. It seems so random from cycle to cycle doesn't it. You can't be positive all the time- got to have your"wallow in it"days.Hope you are feeling better real soon.

Hi Sam,

Sorry to hear 2nd lot was bad.  Don't know what to say or do except offer lots of cyber hugs and let you know I am thinking of you.  Hope your headaches have subsided as that takes a bit of pressure off.

You are an amazing lady and you are such an inspiration to so many.  I love the new photo of you and your husband.  It says so much.

Take care and I am wishing you all the best.

Sam that's so much of a bugger - I hope you are now on the up from the treatment.  I so know what you mean about being over it - some days even when nothing was particularly wrong I would just walk out of the hospital and cry just because I even had to be there in the first place.

As Tonya so wisely says - you cannot possibly be "up" all the time.  Authentic emotion is very important - I find sometimes once I have let the anger and sadness out it just isn't there anymore and I can be just focused on now and enjoy it so much more.

I really hope that the energy kicks back in soon.

Hi Sam,

I can just image two little boys running around the house singling 'Sexy and I know it' or the 'Party Rock' anthem - That would make anyone smile.

I hope that you are feeling better today. :-)

hi lady how are you.
