Hi girls. i have a question. When is the best time to be fitted for your prosthesis? I was told by my breast care nurse to wait until after chemo and your scar etc is stettled down. I also believe there are a few different sorts, like gel or ones for swimming etc. I have been told there are two places in Bundaberg to be fitted for a prosthesis. I like the idea of sports bras but cant get in or out of them as my arm is a bit stiff and i have to get my hubby to help get my in and out of my bra's and some tops.
