Everyone of you lovely ladies/men,
I havent posted a blog since Oct last year. Alot has been happening. First breast Cancer then Thyroid Cancer now Colon and bowel cancer suspected. Just waiting on the results.
How are you all going in your journey. I'm so over all this treatment. I have finished chemo, herceptin. I still have radioactive iodine treatment in brisbane on 27-30th April. And what ever treatment comes of the tests I had today.
So that is where I am at the moment.

Oh Christine how awful for you, this is unreal so many having other cancers and mets etc,
if you look at manda moos site you will see what i have been doing we are trying to get more funding for metastatic cancers for research and better therapies.
this must all be so hard for you and your family ,or if you are like me you probably haven't had time to dwell on it because you are to busy having tests and treatments.
I send you lots of hugs and hope all ends up well for you. take care girl we are all here for you any time.

You're right..I havent had much time to dwell on anything. Except when other people remind me I'm sick. I get a bit depressed at times but mostly I'm a glass half full kinda girl.
There seem to be so many secondary cancers going about. I think, why did I go through all that chemo as it seems to have done nothing to stop anything.
Anyway that's enough of my grizzling. HOpe you all are coping with all your treatments.

I was very sad to read your blog.You've been through enough.That chemo was really hard on you so you'd think it would have done it's job on any stray cancer cells.What the hell is going on?Gosh, we are all like dominoes on this site- one after the other falling down with secondaries. I will hope and pray that you DON'T have bowel cancer Chrissy.You need a break from all this cancer crap. Please let us know your results as we'll all be thinking of you.

I finally have the test results and IT's NOT CANCER. I have Crohns disease plus hyatis hernea. Drug Controlled and also diet. So how releived was I when told the results. I actually did a little dance in the surgery and everyone clapped. What a happy day!!!
So now I only have to have Treatment for the thyroid cancer and then I'm moving forward to a day where there is no cancer in my life.
So happy days!!

Yay Chrissy!
In the ordinary world you might be very upset about a diagnosis of Crohns disease/hiatus hernia but in the cancer world we are soooo happy it's not cancer. Do the happy dance and celebrate- I'm happy for you.

I am so pleased your results were not bowel cancer! I am going to GP for referral for bowel cancer testing next week as my mother died from this.
How do you check for thyriod cancer? What were the symptoms?
