So, no surgery for me this week thanks to a crappy bout of flu and lung infection.
I met my plastic surgeon, Paul Quinn from Subiaco, and we decided to do the skin sparing bilateral mastectomies with tissue expanders and lat dorsi.
I'll find out this week when it will be postponed till. Obviously I need to get well first but I really want to get these ticking time bombs off me, so I hope I don't need to wait too long.
Next thing...and I've been so sick that I haven't had time to focus on this till now...I've found a lump. Other breast. Worries me so much, of course you can imagine whats going on in my head, having been through this 5 years ago. Ultrasound first thing tomorrow.
My next point I'm going to make on a separate entry as its to do particularly with brca1.
Thanks for giving me this space to spill the lot. I haven't told anyone else apart from hubby and doc about the lump. Good to get it off my chest- like mucus! (sorry, close to the heart at the moment)

Fingers crossed for a good outcome!
Thinking of you Lee! I am being treated at St John's in Subi. Great team there. I've finished my chemo and radio but still having herceptin until Oct - 2 more to go!!! Yeah.
Get well soon and hope the op isn't too far away. Are you booked in at St John of God?
Good luck and I hope all is ok with the other breast. Fingers crossed and positive vibes coming your way. It's only normal to feel scared and anxious given what we have been through - you are only human.
