On the 9th November 2012 - On my Husband's birthday I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
After a roller coaster 3 weeks of biopsys, bone scans, cts and surgury (mastectomy of the right breast), I dont think my emotions have really had a chance to catch up.
Oncology is next week to find out what chemo I will need after Christmas. :)
Just wondering if anyone has had problems with their teeth after chemo.
I am experiencing cracks, chips and tooth falling away from my excisting fillings.
I also find the emamel now is no where near as strong and I am having to use a very soft tooth brush all the time.
Please help - I am getting rather concerned.
Well surgury went well and healing slowly, drain tubes came out yesterday, after being in for 14 days, was told it wasn't doing much, but now i have to go and get it asperated as a pocket of fluid has formed under the skin. its like i have a waterbed for a boob :) . have to laugh about it or would spend all day crying.if its not one thing its another :) the never ending roller coaster that we cant get off at the momment.
off to Oncology on wednesday 19th to find out the chemo plan for after christmas.
