Can't believe that the first week post surgery has come an gone, I received my pamper package from Jane McGrath foundation yesterday and was thrilled to receive it. Only a week to wait for the results and treatment. I am supposed to go back to work late next week it will be good to see everyone at work. I was given a beautiful living basket of flowers and chocolate from my work colleagues I feel loved and appreciated. I do wish I could get on the ride on mower and do some mowing the grass is growing so fast, but alas will have to wait a little longer still a bit tender under the arm.

Hi Lynne
How time flys when your having fun.
Glad you have got such high spirits following your surgery, sounds like you have a good positive outlook to help you thru your journey.
Ride on lawnmower sounds like lots of fun but not sure your medical team would be happy for you to go on a little jaunt on it just yet hee hee.
Take care, keep smiling.

Result Day
After waiting a almost three hours I finally managed to see the stand in surgeon, very nice young man. I received my results type of cancer, size and all the other stuff, to cut it short no chemo just hormone and radiation treatment still a few long months.Iam so lucky that it was caught in the early stages. At least my travel distance is not as far as some an hour each way not to bad at least I dont have to go to Melbourne. Everyone at the Ballarat Base have been fantastic and when their new Cancer center opens it will be great for everyone else. Oh by the way the rideon mower was great managed to get the fire break down before the council cracks the shits.
Hi Lynne
Hee hee naughty naughty. Ride on mowers would not have been on your list of recovery options I am sure. But good on you for getting your firebreaks done and you would have gelt great to have achieved that. I am also glad you didn't have any hassles after riding the mower hee hee.
It is excellent news for you that you are not having chemo, I bet you felt relieved when they told you. Yes it will be a few months of treatment but it is very doable and if it saves your life it is worth that and a whole lot more.
Well done, congrats and look after yourself.
Mich xoxo
