Breast Cancer Jewlery
Hey Ladieswas wondering if any one knows of any Australian web sites or stores that sell nice pink ribbon jewlery. I have found a few sites and one American one that says it donates to mammograms. What I really want is an Australian one. I want to buy some stuff to thank ll the special people that have helped me and at the same time give back. Anybody????
Docetaxl
Hey ladies I have survived 4 rounds of AC and had my first round of docetaxl last tuesday. I am overjoyed at the lack of Nausea but the sore mouth is crazy! I have been using Bicarb but it is really bad. I was wondering what other joys this one has for me and if anyone has found any other tricks for the dry mouth
First round of Chemo
Hi Ladies so I had my first round of AC chemo on Tuesday I am having a hard time with the Nausea. Was just wondering how others coped with it. I am taking the pills they gave me but am hoping that it gets better I do not think I could do this for 8 weeks. I can not eat ginger. So am at a loss does any one have any other ideas
Seroma
Hey ladies was just wondering how often you had to have seroma removed from your Mastectomy scars? I am 2 weeks after op and have had it done once and going again tomorrow. I start chemo on tuesday so I was also wondering if they do it after you start chemo?
Starting Chemo
So I saw the oncologist today and i start Chemo next tuesday. Glad it is getting on with it I want this bus to keep moving now it has started. I do not think I am feeling to bad about Chemo. I have decided not to work at all as I work in hospitality and I think that it would be a land mine of infections waiting to happen. The money will be tight but I will manage. I think I am more nervous about the side effects. I am going to try the Ice cap thing to see if it stops my hair from falling out. You never know at some pint in this nightmare something has to go right surley.
